Group B Strep?

Hi lady’s anyone on here tested positive for the Group B strep test positive when you get swabbed ?mine was positive and as I’m reading it sounds a bit scary It has never came out positive so I’m just wondering if anyone has had it ?also I’m aware now that when I go into labor I’ll be put on antibiotics 😕

It's not a big deal as long as you go in straight away if your water breaks. It has nothing to do with you, and if you get pregnant again it could be negative. But you need antibiotics during labor. Even if you think your water has broken or if you're leaking you need to be checked. It could be bad for your baby.

It’s no big deal!! You have it or you don’t! And it can come and go at anytime. Nothing to worry about, you’ll just get antibiotic when you deliver to protect baby!

It's not a big deal alot of women carry GBS its about 50/50 you just have to go in a little early when your in labor and get an IV dose of antibiotics if you dont get it before labor you an baby will stay an extra 2 days to get the medication. It can be passed to baby if you dont get the antibiotics but I had it with both my kids and I have it this pregnancy as wel
