What are your thoughts on visitation?

A child gets abused.

The child is placed in foster care.

The child is forced to see, play, and interact with his abuser.

The child screams, runs away, hits, and hides.

The child is labeled as troubled, challenged, and is given meds.

Visitation continues until the child is numb to the memories.

They tell him it's good for his identity and feeling of acceptance vs abandonment.

What are your thoughts....there is no right answer. The children lose either way, in every one of these situations. But what are your thoughts?
