Best cup for teaching open cup drinking?

What type of cup do you use? My LO is fine with a straw cup and a 360 cup but with a regular cup he always sticks his tongue in the cup. What sort of cup did you use to teach open cup drinking?

An open cup 😂
I know it sounds unhelpful but that's the only way they'll learn! Give them a size appropriate cup or glass. Some people like the ezpz tiny cup, some like a thick shot glass, some use just a kid sized cup. 
Practice at one meal each day (maybe the last one, because it will be messy!). 
Look up feeding littles cup drinking guide, they have some helpful tips for teaching the open cup. 
Oh and their newest recommendation says no 360 cup at all as it encourages an unnatural suck pattern 👍🏼

There’s the Munchkin Splash toddler cup, so it’s an open cup with a training lid that you put on top so it mimics like a travel cup lid.

Honestly? We use 360 and cups with straws, but we also regularly offer beverages straight out of an open cup too (just that we make sure and hold it rather than leaving it with our child unsupervised). I feel like the regular switching of drinking cups has helped him not get any specific habits regarding drinking.
