When you have irregular cycles, they are longer or shorter based on when you ovulate (or don’t ovulate) right?

I’m in my first cycle off the pill so I expected it to be irregular. I tracked ovulation with OPKs and got a peak on cycle day 23. Now I’m on cycle day 37 and I’m supposed to get my period today- 14 DPO. No sign of period, and negative pregnancy tests. I have no signs of my period coming- no cramps sore boobs...some bloating but not a lot.

Anyone going through this? How long did it take for your cycle to normalize and is there anything you took to help balance it out?
