Did my water break? What should I do?

So I got woke up this morning from a gush of fluid. This fluid had no color that I could tell because my undies were red, No odor, And I'm almost certain it wasn't pee. This is my second pregnancy but with my first 10 years ago my water was broken at the hospital. My doctor doesn't open for another hour so I'm seeking advice. Did my water break? What should I do? How do I keep from freaking out for an hour? And has anyone given birth at 34 weeks without complications?

You could call your hospital and ask them if you should go in to be checked. I just had my second at 33+3 weeks. She was perfectly healthy just needed time in the nicu to grow and learn to feed. She spent 27 days and has been home for 3 weeks now.

You need to go to l&d call them on the way there and tell them you believe your water broke, they will test it.

Put on dry undies/pad lay down for a bit and then get up. If it’s wet again then your leaking. If it’s soaked it broke. You don’t stop leaking water for awhile after it breaks

This happened to me and I called and they told me it was probably discharge. That was on a Friday. I had an appointment on Monday still getting gushes like that all weekend. At the appointment she swabbed next to see if it was my waters leaking and it was. I was sent to l&d and had baby next day! I’d call!
