We spent a lot of time and money building a custom bannister. We initially stained it to match the rest of the wood in our home, because we like a natural aesthetic. However, it looked terrible. For so many reasons. We then decided to paint it white, because many people suggested it. Also, we are selling our home now, and the realtor also suggested white.

I like it. But my husband says it’s terrible and he hates it and it’s too white. 🤦‍♀️ I don’t know what we could do differently. I don’t have a picture of it stained, but it was BAD.

P.S. obviously the walls are a work in progress. Sorry about the lighting, the wind knocked out our electricity this morning. 🤦‍♀️
