What is everyone doing for their lo’s bday?

I’m just wondering because due to covid I probably will not be able to do what I have originally planned. I was going to have any babes party at a lake, but unfortunately in Virginia they are not allowing any rentals of the canopy’s with grills. 😭😭😭 Our home is too small for a party so I’m wondering what I should do! My lo’s bday is June 25th.

We live in Virginia too and we went down to my parents (more room) to celebrate with my immediate family! We opened presents, grilled, had a cake and had a water balloon fight which was really fun 😂. Of course he didn’t get hit by any but we did shake water on him and his dad ran around with him on his shoulders! We made the most of it 🥰.

I just invited grandparents parents and did a small celebration on the porch. It was initially going to be in the yard but it was a very hot that day lol. My son definitely had fun though!

Michigander here...things opened up so we are having a smallish bbq. Mainly just immediate family and a few friends  around 25-30 total. Just hanging outdoors and bbq and hang out!

Girl, you have my life. With our babies born the same day and me having planned a grill party, I was so torn between doing it at home or a hall. Anyway. I decided to swallow the bitter pill and do it at home as this gives me a more relaxed feeling. I watched YouTube videos and saw that it is doable.  
Now am getting all the deco I need. Sending out invitations. And will start decorating on the 20th. Yes. I don't want pressure and I still want it to look good even if it is in my small space thus starting early. Also am clearing out spaces to make the room bigger. Tell me how you will do it. Am here everyday for ideas. Lol

Son turns one on Monday . We are cutting a cake with family and have planned a party for early July I’m in Australia our restrictions are lifting pretty much already

We just invited our parents! We swam, did parents, smash cake, cupcakes, grilling out and presents

We did Facebook live for his cake smash, he opened presents at home with just us. On the day of we took him for a hike to see a waterfall and visited a farm that makes their own ice cream and he got a little treat!

We still have pretty strict lockdown rules in North Wales. We're streaming her opening her presents live via Facebook so friends and family can watch. Then later in the day We're meeting up with my SIL and her husband outside (if weather permits, I can hear thunder right now and her birthdays in 2 days). Also We're making her a cake so hopefully there'll be lots of cute pictures of her eating her cake to share with friends and family.

We just found out our zoos will be open from the 15th 🎉 so we’re doing a small party at home just us and grandparents then we’re going to take her on a day trip to the zoo! She hasn’t been anywhere in a trip since Christmas!
