On this app I see women making post saying they want to make friends or are looking for friends and I honestly want to do that too or message a op, but I chicken out. I see this a lot on like TikTok as well and honestly do want to message the person especially if there’s a common interest, but never do even though on both apps I really want to dm them.

I haven’t really been talking to many friends during quarantine and plus I really don’t have that many friends to begin with, so I’ve pretty much forgotten how to strike up a conversation without sounding awkward and that’s why I chicken out every time.

And it isn’t like I’m super young and don’t know how to make conversation with people, I’ve just forgotten in a way. And at one point in time I used to be better at holding a conversation over messaging then in person or over the phone because I am pretty awkward like 95% of the time when I start talking to new people...
