How much has your dr told you to give your 1 year old for Tylenol?

Just curious. I’ve got mixed answers from dr and hospital.

My doctor gave me a chart to go by for weight so right now she gets 3.75 ml

We go by weight and according to his weight he should be taking 5ml.

Its by weight not age. I am really sensitive to pain medicine since i never really took it growing up (even tylenol or advil). My parents were really big into drink water or rest or try to figure out why your in pain, obviously when i was sick or hurt i got it but i definitely wasnt given it alot. My husband is the opposite and his parents gave it to him more frequently so he says it doesnt really work for him now and has to takw bigger doses and doesnt want that to happen to out little guy. He is currently at the 5ml weight but we only give him 3.75ml sometimes a little more and it works fine for him, but once it gets to the point it doesnt or wears off quickly we will go up.

They are given based on weight. Tylenol = 15mg for every kg. Advil is 10mg for every kg.

In Germany, babies get suppositories for paracetamol (Tylenol) and ibuprofen (Motrin) so the dosages are fixed. I think ibuprofen is 60mg. If your baby is bigger, you can just give the suppository more often. 
I think they're much easier than trying to get something in my baby's mouth! 
It's so interesting how things are done differently in different countries.
