Caffeine and breastfeeding?

Does caffeine affect anyone else's baby? My daughter was fussy yesterday so I drank a huge coffee and she was up for 6 hours straight! She would NOT sleep all night until 9am and she just woke up now at 5pm. Has this happened to anyone else?

Mine doesn’t. I have whatever caffeine I want (within reason) and my babies have all slept really well

Mine just gets extra spit up so I barely drink any caffeine 😩 but I do decaf to try and make up for it

My sons nurse practitioner told me to avoid caffeine, chocolate, spicy and dairy. He was having a rash and she said it must be something I’m eating. His stool was also really runny. Once I stopped eating those things his rash cleared up and no more runny stool. She said if could take 3 months for baby to adjust then I should be able to eat those things again. She said I can have something like a cup of coffee one day and the next a little dairy if need be but just to avoid it if I notice he reacts to it.

I don't think so, but I'm not sure. I do have one cup of coffee every morning and she doesn't seem bothered by it.
