Short cervix?

Question

Trying not to freak myself out. Doctor said everything was fine at the appointment today, but I was looking at my ultrasound and it said the cervical length is only 2.29cm. 
I am 25+4 today and from what I can see this is really short. Any input?
Please reassure me and tell me to stop googling 😂

With my last pregnancy my cervix would get shorter and then get longer. It was weird. I had ultrasounds every 2 weeks for months. I was also on the Makenna shot. But by the grace of God, she was born a day late. My first was 9 weeks premature with no known reason why! You should really talk to your doctor about it and see what they say and what their recommendations are.

my first pregnancy i was short at 28 weeks and then also dilated 1cm at 30 weeks. i was put on progesterone for 14 days, cervix lengthened and had a full term baby.

Mine has been measuring short too!! They said they would just keep an eye on it and measure every week for a couple weeks. They said really not to worry too much but call right away if there are any changes in cramps, bleeding, discharge and try not to push yourself too much. (Don’t attempt to run a few miles 😂) otherwise should be ok. 🙏🏼❤️

Stop googling! Lol google always gives worst case scenarios 
My cervix was 0.7 cm long at 23+5 and I’m currently 26+2 so it could be shorter. They placed me on vaginal progesterone and reduced activity and so far things are going okay. 
Can you see if that’s an option? Usually they don’t like to start it after 24 weeks but doesn’t hurt to ask. Or even a pessary. It’s newer and not a lot of drs are doing it but doesn’t hurt to ask about it.

Are they getting you back in for a rescan to monitor progress, it’s recommended every 2 weeks. Did they discuss progesterone suppositories with you? 
2.5cm or lower to 23 weeks is when they would have discussed a stitch / cerclage but they won’t do that after 23 weeks it’s too high a risk to baby. 
I don’t think you have too much to worry about but if it was me I’d still push for regular scans. 
I’m 28w and my cervix was 1.4cm at 16 weeks I ended up with a stitch and progesterone.
