Where do you kiss your baby ?

I grew up kissing my mom on her cheek , I was always taught that it was nasty to kiss your parents on the mouth . But I let my baby kiss me on my lips and I don’t see anything wrong with it. Just curious to see what everyone else does and any input.

Anywhere and everywhere! Lips, cheeks, neck, thighs, feet, butt!!!! I rarely kiss on the lips it’s usually the cheek but I do sometimes. I also still kiss my 9 and 6 year old boys on the lips sometimes!

Pretty much everywhere except mouth. Though if I ask for a kiss and he goes for the lips I'm not turning away. Gonna enjoy all that slobber goodness because he'll be slamming doors and yelling "I hate you, mom!" in no time!

My parents kissed me on the lips until I grew out of it about 8 years old. It’s not nasty at all, just affection and love. Everyone has their own views though so there’s no right way about a showing it

I kiss cheeks and forehead. Occasionally on the lips but only if they are dry and he ain't sticking tongue out. He tries to eat my lips sometimes and I turn away because I don't feel it is appropriate. It reminds me too much of sexual abusers. It took me a while to come to terms with kissing his lips until my husband told me he does it. Lol. I guess when am not looking. I have seen someone kiss my son in the lips playfully and it shocked me so bad. Somehow, when I first gave birth to him, I felt such a strong need to be close to him and to hold him tight and I had never felt like that with anyone and it scared me that I could be a perv. Don't get me wrong, I have never done anything sexually abusive to my son nor even have such thought. I guess I just didn't know what it felt like to deeply love a child. So yeah. Much as am mindful of boundaries, I am also affectionate to him with hugs and kisses on any part of his body other than private parts or anything I think he will use to to romance his future wife. Lol . We actually do nose nose( nose touch)

On the mouth or cheek. I usually kiss my kids on the cheek but if they want to kiss me on the mouth, I’m completely fine with that. My 4 year old will also kiss me wherever...legs, arms, hands. She will hug my leg and kiss my thigh after we do goodbye hugs & kisses when I’m trying to walk out the door. It’s super cute!
