Teachers?

Anyone else a teacher on here and secretly hoping they can line up their pregnancy so that maternity leave is the last two months of school?? 😂 I certainly am! 🙋🏼‍♀️ A bunch of my coworkers ended up having that happen and it was great for them!!

I’m starting ovulation induction this month and counted out when I would be due just a moment ago! First of April before testing would be amazing.

Mine always line up with getting the beginning of the school year off and going back to work after Christmas break. This year I'm happy I will be missing most of the new year with all of the crazy things that need to.be worked out with covid 19. My 1st was born in Sept '16 and I'm now due in the beginning of October. I love the end of the school year. I perfer for my pregnancies to line up with the beginning of the year. I work functional skills at the high school level so I like chaperoning prom and going to grad night with my students.

I was hoping for that, but I am nervous about it now because I will be starting at a new district. I know at my old district they would just be happy for me, but I’m nervous that it’ll be frowned upon. Also, let’s be honest, test scores affect our job security & I’m nervous about being gone during that final testing block. I know I shouldn’t care, but it’s all in the back of my mind.

Either that or have the baby so I miss March which is the longest day of the year lol. I love April-June though (I’m a special ed teacher so I don’t have the testing) we do so many fun things at the end of the year!

I had it happen for my first baby, would have loved for my second to happen that way. I’m starting the school year gone and I’m terrified that my rules and expectations will not be taught and the first six weeks will be hell. 
I teach junior high kids in a very difficult demographic (high gang violence). Pray for me!

I'm a teaching assistant and my aim was to start mat leave when the schools broke up for summer but that didn't work out. I'm now 10w pregnant and it works out my mat leave will start around Christmas break

I am a teacher! Originally that was my plan but then I remembered the end of the year is the best part of the year 😂haha. So now I’m just ready whenever I’m lucky enough to get pregnant! 🥰
