My boyfriend is getting a cat and I’m afraid of cats... I know it’s sounds stupid but I’ve been attacked too many times by cats and now I’m just afraid of all cats and I don’t like them. I’ve tried dealing with it but nothing seems to help. I told my boyfriend that I’m terrified of cats and now he’s getting one. We don’t live together yet but we are in a serious relationship together. I know he can make his own decisions but do I have a right to be upset ? Especially if he’s going to want me to visit him and should I just take this as maybe he doesn’t plan on moving in together in the future?

Update: I do sleepover at his place a lot it wouldn’t be fair for the cat to be locked up
