I had nowhere else to rant to so here it is.

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 5 years. We're in college too. But what I hate the most about our relationship is that everytime I bring up date plans, like where to eat and what to do, my bf would always say no or that "its too expensive" etc. There were multiple situations where I asked if we could go hiking or eat out for kbbq and he would complain and say "thats a lot of money". But a week later he would do those exact same things (that he rejected me with) with his friends. And when I bring it up its always the same excuse. He would always say somewhere in the lines of "my friends were the one that brought up the idea so im just going with them". To be honest, it makes me super upset because I always feel like he doesnt want to do stuff with me. Ive talked to him about it many times, but its still the same.
