On Wednesday, June 10, at exactly 35 weeks, our trio arrived! I’m so excited to introduce you to:

Emiko Irene - 5lb 5oz

Joshua Peter - 4lbs 0oz

Adam Yee - 4lb 6oz

Emi and Josh did not need any time in the NICU and have been in the nursery with frequent visits from Pete. Adam needs some help breathing, so he’s in the NICU on CPAP and of course has gotten visits from Pete.

Unfortunately, there was a complication with my c section and the drs couldn’t get my bleeding under control. I lost over 5 liters of blood and as a result needed 4 units of blood, several units plasma, and several units platelets. They performed a D&C, which did not work, and were finally able to stop the bleeding by doing a hysterectomy. I spent 24 hrs in the ICU and am now back on a maternity floor so I can finally see and hold our babies. We are forever grateful for the amazing team of doctors and nurses whose skills and actions saved my life. We feel so blessed!
