Hey guys ! It’s been a very long time since I last posted and a bunch has happened. I was diagnosed with PCOS back in 2017. Which lead me to taking birth control in order to regulate my hormones (Norgestimate to be exact.) I was on the pill religiously up until early May I want to say. (P.s. I haven’t really been ttc.) Prior to me finding out I had PCOS I had thought I was pregnant and even had a false positive test. When I went to the gyno they had explained to me that the hormonal imbalance caused the false positive. I also learned that my weight played a huge role into my diagnosis. I was at almost 300 lbs. July of 2019 and proudly lost 74 lbs. and counting ! My doctor had explained to me that the only way I can control my PCOS was to change my lifestyle. Of course , it took a very long time to get to where I am at now but I am feeling healthier and happier than ever ! Mind you , my gyno had mentioned that my PCOS wasn’t “ common “ and to put it into simpler terms, instead of having 1-2 large cysts, my ovaries consist of small cysts surround both ovaries and pretty much look like raspberries. To fast forward the story, I met my amazing fiancé earlier this year and things were falling into place so effortlessly. Me being careless (low key wanting to get pregnant) I decided to get off the pill (btw my fiancé was well aware I was off lol.) Now my last period ended sometime early May and it was also the longest period of my life !! I was bleeding for about 2 weeks , that’s with me being on my pill. TMI but my fiancé and I are very sexually active and we never use any form of protection besides the pill lol. Boom! Here I am taking a pregnancy test because I’m around a week over due on getting my period. (More or less) so not sure what to do ? Does that even look like a positive? My fiancé and I think it’s negative but the more I see it ... I kinda see a small line. Hmmm am I crazy ??? Any advice will help me tremendously!!!
