First time uaing opk started on cycle Day 22 i have irregular cycles

I was just wondering if I’m close to ovulation or if I am I even doing this right I have been having a lot of pinching and aches in lower back too, I thought it was possibly ovulation but haven’t had positive one yet. I’m on cycle day 26 now and started first time using on cycle day 22. Just wanting any opinions thank you.
