We went on a date to celebrate my 20th birthday. It was a nice picnic in the park and it was our first official physical date, due to us starting to date at the beginning of quarantine, and it was a beautiful day. By the end of the date I took her to this little patch of trees that’s hollowed out in the middle giving you complete coverage. Now you need to know, I’m insanely innocent when it comes to love and dating -it had actually been my first physical date ever- and I just planned on showing her this neat grouping of trees but then once we got there she turned and looked at me smiling and grabbed my face and kissed me. I was in shock and didn’t know what to do, but it was nice. I joke about my life being a coming of age teen romance movie -except the credits begin to roll before the MC and the love interest get together- but this time it’s actually playing out. I’m excited to see where this relationship takes us 💕
