I’m trying really hard to stay positive but I’m also scared. She has too much CSF in her lateral ventricles and her head is measuring 4 weeks ahead of her body. If it doesn’t progress more she could be fine, but this could mean she has anything from mild to severe physical or mental disabilities. She might need brain surgery right after she’s born. It could be tumours creating a blockage. I have to keep getting scans, do a late amniocentesis, and talk with genetic counselling. I’m trying hard to hold onto the “she could be fine” part but it’s very very hard. It also sucks that I’m going to these appointments alone.

Has anyone been in a similar situation?
