What to do after a chemical pregnancy?

I knew something was off from the start because my lines were so faint but I was suppose to have an ultrasound done Thursday, do you think I should still go to discuss with my doctor my chemical pregnancy? Does this just happen to people or does that mean I’m low on some hormone? When can I start trying again? I was in week 5 and it seems like my period now just a week late. Do I have to wait on my period or can I start after this bleeding ends?

You can start trying again right away. You don’t have to do anything, you don’t have to wait, you don’t have to discuss with your doctor unless you want to. Had you not tested, you wouldn’t have even known you were pregnant.
There’s scientifically no reason to wait to start TTC again. ❤️

With my chemical it wasn’t a hormone imbalance. I’m sorry for your loss hun. The way I was explained it is because your body recognized the embryo didn’t have everything it needed to be compatible with life so your body ejects it.

Most times you can start the next cycle as chemicals usually end when af is actually due, defo speak to your doctor, its good to have them documented in case you need further investigations. Hope you get your bfp soon xx
