So timing was bad but the first day I tested I had a tooth pulled and it was a very difficult extraction and I ended up with stitches and a lot of swelling. They recommended I take 2 tynenol followed by 3 ibuprofen a couple hours later to deal with pain. I also got prescribed 800mg amoxicillin.

My family doc said these are all fine in early pregnancy but my obgyn nurse said try not to use the Ibuprofen.... thing is the pain is so bad I wake up in the middle of the night and ibuprofen is the only thing that helps.

Online research looks bad and points to increasing risk of miscarriage but I don’t know what else to do. This is not the early pregnancy I envisioned 😞.

Also I am 40 and this would be my first.
