Has anyone on here bought land? How did you finance it?

My husband and I originally wanted to wait to pay cash for land. There was a lot that came for sale in our desired area. Everything about this land is absolutely perfect, it checked all our boxes. Only issue is that we don't have the full amount saved in cash yet.

We were told to look into personal loans. Has anyone gone this route? Any information is helpful!

*just to add. My husband and I only have our mortgage and his car payment. We do not have any other debt. We will be able to pay off the land in about 2 years if we finance.
