How long does it take for y'all's hair to dry?

Without the help of a diffuser or anything, but a cotton t-shirt so it's not soaking wet, it takes just over 2 and a half hours I think to completely dry. For the most part it dry in an hour, but the roots take a while. 
I have thick curly hair

Curly girl method follower over here!! A good squeeze and then a plop in a t-shirt wrap with my 2c/3a curls will take a solid 3-4 hours dry completely at the roots, used to take almost 6 hrs when I was younger and my hair was thicker

I accidentally hit the wrong thing. Mine takes hours to air dry. Super thick

5+ hours. I have thick, low porosity wavy/curly hair.

I have very long hair right now, and it is very thick, so it can take like 5 hours or so for it to dry. One of the many reasons I try not to wash it too often, it too much work lol
