Is my son ok?

I plan to call his doc tomorrow. Im scared my son is hurt, my son is 7 months today and i had him sitting up playing with his toys, he reached in front of himself to far and bumped him head on the hardwood floor. Should he be fine? Or should i have taken him to the ER since hes so little.

Your son should be fine. Babies fall all the time. If he started acting funny or different from usual, then I would take him in. This fall will just be the first of many.

Unless he won’t stop crying, is feverish, vomiting, lethargic, difficult to wake up, can’t seem to focus, then nothing to worry about.

I can’t even count the amount of times my kids head hit the hardwood floor 🤦🏻‍♀️ as long as he’s acting normal (not throwing up/not extra sleepy), he’s ok.

He should be fine. My 5 month old has done it as well. They always end up trying to get things that are out of reach.

I would keep an eye on him.  All babies bump and fall down.  Put a cold compress on his head.  I would put down a blanket, play rug or something fluffy down when on the floor so he is trying to sit up and fall he has a softer area to fall on.
