Pumping exclusively?

Hi ladies! Does anyone pump mostly exclusively? It hurts a great deal on one of my breasts when my son latches- I reposition, relatch, it'll start out being painless and then it's like his tongue position or something changes and it brings me to tears. Thinking about starting to pump on just that side, as the other is fine. Any input on a pump schedule would be appreciated, thank you!

I EPd with my daughter for a whole year. I basically would pump everytime she was fed. At first it was literally every 2 to 3 hours even at night but then once she dropped night feeds I did, too. I dual pumped and it would take 30ish minutes each time. Get a hands free pumping bra, it'll save your sanity.  And also use nipple cream (I like the Earth Mama one).

I pumped every three hours for a couple weeks to get my supply up. Now I only pump every 6 hours. I nurse occasionally. But my son also prefers one side, so I’ll pump the other side after nursing him.

I didnt set a schedule. Just pumped when she ate. If she wasnt around or I was at work, I pumped every 3ish hours.
