If you have kids, do you use pesticides/insecticides in your yard?

Question

If you use the standard pesticides, herbicides, and insecticides, how long do you wait until you let your kids play in the lawn again? 
If you use natural, kid-safe ones, could you please share what you use?

We have a company that comes once a month to spray the yard for ticks. I don't remember what they use but it's pet and kid friendly. They do say to keep them off the yard for about a half hour after application. I think for regular pesticides kids should be off the grass for about 24 hours. But I'm not 100% sure. If you're buying stuff from the store the bottle should say how long to be odd the grass

We use an all-green natural company that only kills the “bad bugs” and leaves the “good” garden bugs. They’ve sprayed in the house and it’s fine with pets and kids- felt very secure about this!

My husband does this as a side business, the products he uses are safe once it’s dry, so a few hours after application.

Our lawn is great 3 times per year by a company. They put signs in the yard to stay off until x date (usually a day or two). It’s some type of weed and feed or maybe just feed sometimes. I really don’t know - it’s my husband’s thing.
