Short stay hospital bag?

Question

The midwife has told me that if my birth goes well they will discharge me 4-6 hours after baby is born. I was wondering what I should pack or if it'd be worth taking anything besides an outfit for baby and a change of clothes for myself? We only live a minute from the hospital so worst case my husband can duck home and grab anything extra I need.

I would still pack like you are gonna stay for a few days, you never know if baby ends up needed a little extra help or if you do you might end up staying longer. I’d say better safe then sorry!

I think u should still pack a few! Little outfits and stuff they do normally advice you to bring 2 lots of stuff 2 baby grows 2bibs 2mittens 2cardigans whatever u want but make sure u do take some things

That’s all I would take! 🤷🏼‍♀️ with my first I just wore a hospital gown the whole time. Lol

Hi,
It is better to take extra clothes for the baby and yourself. I thought the same way last year and ended up with staying three days extra in the Hospital:). So my husband needed to get extra stuff for us. So it is better to be prepared.
