Baby kicks or gas?

When did you know for sure that you were feeling baby moving or kicking & it wasn't just gas?? This is my first pregnancy & my placenta is at the front.. I think I'm feeling baby move but not 100% sure!

Most likely baby kicks! With my first I had an anterior placenta and I could feel kicks around 20 weeks and me and my husband could see them on the outside around 23/24 weeks

That was my game for weeks!! "Baby or gas". Felt it around 18w6d finally. Basically was a short burst or tap. Usually with gas it burbles fairly continuously or in long segments and baby will be like a single "thup" or a couple quick ones. I would wait to see if I could feel my heart after and if I didnt it was likely baby. Now 20wk5d and not feeling it as much as i was the last two weeks
