Did it hurt when your water broke naturally?

Did you hear a pop? Did it hurt? Did you have contractions or pains before? 
I’m 40w & waiting for her to make her appearance 🤪

I had contractions all night, had a shower and they eased off. Fresh clothes on and as I lifted my leg to get into bed a hot hush of liquid 😂 It was really warm, I knew instantly it was my waters but no pain or discomfort, I didn’t even hear a pop

My water broke during active labor..I was pushing and in the tub, and felt it pop! Wasn’t painful.

I had mild contractions all night that were getting somewhat more intense. I sat on the toilet and felt/heard the gush. I knew what it was immediately. It didn’t hurt at all and there was no popping sound.

Nope. I just got up one morning and there was a gush. I knew it was from my vagina cos I felt it but it was more than even crazy pregnancy discharge and kept coming in gushes for the rest of the day. No pop, no pain.

I’m expecting #8 and only once did my water break at home. I was having contractions for a few hours before and I stood up and a gush of fluid came out, no pain no pop sound, I definitely knew my water broke.

No pop, no gush. Just a feeling of a little pee.
The contractions came soon after and thatsss when the pain came.

My water didn't break until I was pushing with my second and it was broken by the doctor with my first. It doesn't hurt lol.
