Help! Thyroid meds

I have been on Levothyroxine for about 8 weeks,for my underactive thyroid. My periods used to be really heavy,then started getting alot lighter after taking my meds. I was supposed to start my period 4 days ago. Nothing. I have had brown/pink spotting,and cramps,but no period. Can thyroid meds cause you to skip a normal period?
