Pinto beans/beans for baby?

Whous giving beans to their baby? I have seen it is a great source of protein. I gave him a pinto bean the other day from my mexican food and he loved it so I got them at the store. I am just wondering do you givethem full? Puree?  Give it with something else?

We eat black beans all of the time so we just puréed some down for our daughter and she loves them.

Does anyone cook amd freeze?? Thinking on freezing some purreed and some whole?? I have been making all of his food and like to keep a few things frozen to rotate through.
