Hey there, A couple of years ago I had the Mirena and had to get it removed because I developed cysts on one ovary because of it. It gave me intense cramps to the point of crying and collapsing in public (horrible). So, now I saw an offer at a clinic where I can get the Paragard for $85 (regularly it would be $400). I’m getting married and I need to get on BC because we don’t want babies right away. Right now we’re using condoms butI really enjoyed being spontaneous with the IUD and not killing the moment with “oh we ran out of condoms”.

So has anyone switched like this? How was your experience? Also, for the ones who’ve only had Paragard what was your experience?
