Egg white discharge?

Question

So I’ve been looking up times when you’re most fertile. I read that you’re suppose to have egg white like discharge for a day or two leading up to ovulation but I don’t think I have that? Today I am ovulation and my discharge is like a see through white and a mix between creamy and watery. Does that mean I am infertile?

Answer

Every woman’s cervical fluid will be unique to her. Even if you don’t get eggwhite, you can still get pregnant. Eggwhite is just the optimal type of cervical fluid. I typically get watery or eggwhite fluid for about 3-5 days before ovulation, creamy for a week before that. I have PCOS and longer cycles than most women though.
