Im going to be published!

I realize this might get lost in other posts but i want to just share with everyone. I entered this poetry contest thing for the chance of winning a laptop. They want to publish my poem in a book with a lot of other select people. I'll be 16 in September and im just over the moon with excitement. Here is the poem for any one wondering:

Do I have to be

My own flashlight?

My own lightning bug?

Must I pave the path

For my breath to follow?

If that wasn’t enough

I cannot find

The batteries

To put in it

They fell out

Months before

Maybe they are 

Just as lost as me

Or maybe they’re

Buried in the crunchy

Snow beneath

My frozen feet
