Short cycles, need advice

Details below. Does anyone have any similar experiences? Why am I getting short periods? Did you get any medications that regulated you while also TTC?

I posted a few weeks ago, but still having the same issue. These are my last few cycles post fertility treatments, all between 14-17 days. This is also the first time in years that my bloodwork levels are where they are supposed to be.

OBGYN called today and pretty much said my only option to regulate is birth control. I’ve been TTC since January 2018 so going on BC seems counter productive especially since it wouldn’t just be temporary.

I asked about letrozole to try to regulate and ovulate but she said I couldn’t have it because it’s only supposed to be given for 3 months and she actually gave it to me for 5 months (last year) and the subsequent fertility clinic gave it to me for 3 more months this year.
