Do initials matter?

I like Phoebe for a baby girl but last name begins with a P. Will she be teased for having “PP” initials?

As long as the initials aren't something like ASS, BUM, FAG, or the like, it's fine. Phoebe is a lovely name.

My first and middle initials are BJ. I'm 26 years old and I'm the only person who has ever made a joke about it. Either no one has ever noticed or they don't care. I don't think initials are as big of a deal as people think. 
My husband's first and last initials are PP and to my knowledge, he's never mentioned being made fun of as a kid for it.

I think making sure first and last name go together is the big thing people look for, not initials. I went to school with a guy named Chris Peacock....don’t know what his parents were thinking 🤣🤣

I know a lot of people are saying "no one cares" but I went to school with a kid who's initials were BJ and he was teased relentlessly. I think it does matter and I wouldn't do it. But that's just how I personally feel.

For some reason when we were going through names, my husband kept saying what each name would spell out. 🤦🏻‍♀️ his family does that too. It’s so weird.

My husband is struggling with that for us as well! My favorite girl name for 15 years has been Peyton and I married a man last name Plant so he’s stuck in the PP initials! My initials are PP now as well but I didn’t grow up with it so I’m going to be following this!
