Should I worry?

Hey everyone. So I'm 30 weeks and 2 days and my baby is only weighing at 2lbs 13 ounces. Dr said shes small. She is also breech. Should I worry? FTM here and dont know what i should be doing to help her grow.

If your doctor isn’t worried then I’d say don’t stress. I have friends with small babies, big babies and they are all fine development wise.

The dr I saw today was the dr who was suppose to do the delivery, however she is not my regular doctor it's hard to explain but I just switched practices and my original practice doesn't do delivery so they sent me to this dr to do birth plan and when I called them see if I should keep the appointment they said yes for measurements. I see my new doctor tomorrow idk what's going to happen.

At 30w 1day my baby girl was measuring 2lbs 15oz in the 12th percentile. I’ve been going for bi-weekly growth scans for 6 weeks now, and was sent to a specialist 4 weeks ago (she was measuring 7th percentile then.) The specialist was super reassuring and gave me a lot of peace of mind. Have they referred you yet? I’d definitely ask about that to give you some peace of mind about healthy placenta, cord blood flow, and such. They should, at very least, be following up with another growth scan in 2-3 weeks to make sure she’s continuing to grow. 
I know how worrying it is to hear that baby is below the 10th percentile, but remind yourself that there’s still time to grow and healthy little babies are born all the time!!

I’m 31 weeks and my baby is about the same size. She’s in the 2nd percentile and I’ve been diagnosed with IUGR. I have weekly appointments for BPP and non stress tests and a growth scan every 3 weeks to make sure she’s doing okay. Maybe check and see if they want to do a growth scan and placenta output.

Did your doctor mention needing a growth scan? From what I know it can make them want to monitor baby a little more closely, but if your doctor isn’t worried I would try to not worry to badly.
