How to stomach sleepers sleep during pregnancy?

Serious question, if your a stomach sleeper and your pregnant...how ate you adjusting? I’m 29 and I’ve never slept in any other position but my husband and my mom have kindly requested i try my side or back. I have tried everything but end up on my stomach every time. I’m only in the first trimester but I’m worried about when I move into the second and third.

Get a full body pregnancy pillow. It does wonders! Plus once you get larger it will be easier to transition out of stomach sleeping because it will hurt.

Lots of great advice here. I just wanted to add it’s better to sleep on your left side as the right side can slow circulation to your uterus.

I just put pillows under one knee, and turn in that direction with my lower half, then you've got a side for the belly.

You are fine, and trust me, you won’t be able to sleep on your tummy when it is big. It’s ok for now, but just try side, as on your back is actually worse later on as it can cut either circulation or oxygen. You will learn to sleep on your side eventually and later on in pregnancy you will not sleep much anyways, so you will be awake enough to go on your side.

I’m a stomach sleeper too. This is my 3rd pregnancy. My husband has mentioned multiple times that I need to find a new way to sleep cause I won’t be able to sleep in my stomach soon. I’m starting to get uncomfortable now so now I just lift my leg & that helps. I will be using my pregnancy pillow soon cause I don’t think I’ll be able to lift my leg up for too much longer

I second the pregnancy pillow advice! I’m a stomach sleeper; and being my second pregnancy, I started showing earlier this time. My husband suggested I get the pillow ASAP (I got it around 16 weeks last time... but this time, i got it around 7-8 weeks). It has been great help!

I actually intuitively side sleep when pregnant. It is like my inner core knows to just side sleep. I’m also uncomfortable o my tummy due to pressure
