Life is short, if grandma wants to be in torn jeans, let her be. There are worse things in life. For example, nosy people who think they can police what others can wear or not wear based on their interpretation of what’s appropriate.

I'm pretty sure my 75 year old grandma has a pair, and idk much about fashion, but she always makes sure she's looking good so I'm gonna say it works 🤷🏼‍♀️

I haven’t owned a pair of ripped or distressed jeans since I was 15... I don’t see the point in paying money for jeans that have holes or tears in them. I throw out any jeans that gets ripped... 🤷‍♀️ I mean, if that’s what you like then wear it but me personally, I can’t stand ripped jeans.

To me there’s a difference between worn or ripped jeans because they are lived in versus purposely worn or ripped “new” jeans. 
Then again, I don’t have time, energy or willingness to devote to judging people for what they wear on their bodies.
