Anyone else have a super challenging baby?

I know all babies are hard work but mannnnnn this guy, he's so fractious, needs constant entertaining.
 Again, I know they need playing with but this is next level stuff. He literally screams
I keep feeling like maybe I'm doing something wrong, or is this just his temperament...
Anyone else at all in a similar position?

My daughter was a lot like that. She’s been getting a little better. She can entertain herself for about 10-15 mins at a time. I had to let her whine when I leave the room and she learned to be ok. She also became mobile so she can go where she wants.

Is he getting enough sleep at night? My baby was so rough until she started sleeping better and now she’s super happy all the time.

I read about babies getting overwhelmed with too many toys so they have a hard time focusing. After I read that I took some toys away and just give him a couple at a time and he seems to play with them longer and generally entertain himself for a while (as long as I’m close by). Maybe that’s something you could try too and see how it works!

Yep! My first was the easiest baby ever - Slept all night since he was born, never had a single issue with teething- I didn’t even know he was teething because he was never fussy! He was a happy baby with his milk and his sleep. But my second.... oh my God. Complete opposite just go you can picture it lol this baby even learned to take his diaper off at around 5 months so everything is an uphill battle 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yes, that’s my son! I’ve had both my mom and mother in law relay this info to me as well, so not just me. He’s very irritable if I am not fully paying attention to him. It’s exhausting! I just keep reminding myself to slow down and just be OKAY with being momma. It’s hard not to just need a moment for sure. Does he like to be in stroller or something like that? That’s my saving grace... or I’ll go for a drive in the car just for a break!
