Are crib rail guards safe?

His molars are coming in and the beaver like behavior has gotten worse over the past couple of days 🥴. We try and keep him comfortable with teething toys etc, but I’m gonna need a solution for his crib..

We have a fabric guard on ours and I love it. It ties like 6 times down the rail so there is no way he could pull it off. I think this is the only picture I have of it from when he was a newborn. I think they are safe...but I’m sure there is someone who might think it’s not

We got guard rails about 3weeks ago and it has been a life savor! My guy can’t get them off and it has saved the crib.
Here’s a pic of ours, got off Amazon for like $17 for all 3 rails.

I have seen lots of my friends’ babies cribs that look exactly like this! I took some 1st birthday pics in one of their cribs and had to edit out all the beaver marks. I’m sure it’s such a minimal amount of paint and wood it shouldn’t be hazardous!

we have hard plastic rail covers that came with my daughter’s crib, I’m not sure if they sell them separately but they definitely keep her from chewing up her crib 😂😂

Our baby only goes in there when she sleeps ? Maybe get a play pen for when he’s awake ?
