Did you take a break requested by clinic after failed iui?

Hi laddies so I just had a failed iui. It was our first one. So I emailed my coordinator to let her know about my period for record keeping. and I have an over the phone consultation with my doctor next Wednesday. We decided to do another iui and I thought I’ll be scheduled for my scan but instead my coordinator said that until next cycle as my body needs rest. Has that ever been told? Or do you go right in with the next iui?

We would be going right in with another IUI but I’m doing surgery first, then going back to IUIs, I don’t know why they would be having you take a break. Every doctor is different I guess

After my first one failed, I had to take a couple months off because of COVID.  And now that the second failed, I have to take a month off because my RE will be on vacation.  So frustrating!

I wanted a break but my gyno advice against it she says don’t stop it’s the first time ur body is doing wat it suppose to so as long it regulates it will happen I did the nxt cycle right after n I fell pregnant sadly it ended in an ectopic pregnancy . Just finished my 3 mnts waiting

Hi! We had a failed IUI in May (first IUI). We just jumped back in this month and had our second IUI a week ago. You could always ask your doctor why they recommended a break? 😊
