Just here to say not body wash! Haha. My daughter is 15 months and we are still using the first bottle I ever opened. Haha. At this rate we will be bathing with baby body wash until college.
A wrap or carrier is always good to ask for! Diapers you can never have enough of! They don’t stay in the smaller sizes very long, but my daughter has been in size 4 for a super long time now.

With the skincare and body wash products- choose products that are free from fragrance and essential oils. So many baby products still contain things like lavender oil that is not good for eczema.
The things we used everyday:
- video baby monitor
- Sleeping sacks/sleeping bags (so much easier than swaddles and blankets because of the temperature of garment TOG ratings you know exactly what to dress baby in plus they can’t get tangled and kick them off.
-clothing in sizes appropriate for the weather at the age they will be
- when they get older feeding things- spoon, silicone bib with a food catcher, plate, bowl, cup
- pram / baby carrier (I used both frequently)
One thing we use rarely but I’m very glad we have for those couple of times we have used it is a fully stocked baby/kids first aid kit.

Noise machine, safety items, Freda Baby hygiene items - nail clippers and snot sucker stuff along with a bottle of saline, diapering stuff, and a few fun items. 
It’s okay to have 150+ items on your registry. Thats a good thing. Just make sure the price points are varied. Have fun!

Literally anything you might want you should add to the registry. You never know what people might want to get you. And you want to have items at various price points. I didn’t add many clothes because people will get what they want in that department. And make sure if you’re registering somewhere like target to check your registry regularly because as lines come and go out of season, you could end up with a registry of sold out or discontinued items. I’d also recommend registering for books

- Recieving blankets, a lot of them. Amazon sells them in packs of 7.  I use them to keep baby warm and as burp clothes. 
- Hanging toys are a must. 
- a simple rocking chair. 
- pack and play
- a couple. black and white toys/ books 
A toy that straps to the pacifier, but that you can change out the pacifier.
- Mattress covers.
