7 weeks heartbeat?

I went today and we did see a flickering of the heart via ultrasound, but we didn’t hear it. Do we usually get to hear it????

Sometimes it is too early to hear it but you can see it. It was the same thing with me this pregnancy couldnt hear the heartbeat but could see it clearly

I think it depends where u are in the UK we don't listen to thw heart beat until 16 weeks but it seems in the use they listen for about 6/7 weeks

I didn't get to hear mine at 7 weeks either, but we saw it and the doctor was able to measure it

I heard mine at 8 and a half weeks, but I had to ask.
She just showed me the flicker and I asked if it was possible to hear it. She had to switch settings for sound on the ultrasound.
