Need more information

Has anyone ever booked a hotel on snap travel ? I did this and the hotel won't answer my calls because they're just opening lake tahoe up. I really wanted to know if this sight is legitimate (tied in with TripAdvisor) because I don't want to go there and my hotel wasn't booked and we are stuck there without a room.
