How long did it take for a pregnancy test to show positive for you? How late were you when you tested?

Just curious as to what everyone’s experience was! I’ve had a friend who was 21 days late before it showed positive. But then another friends showed 5 days early.

I’m currently 16 days late. My OBGYN said that there is a small chance I’m very early pregnant and it’s not showing yet. However, I have PCOS and it’s more likely that it’s flaring up and that what I’ve missed it.
