Hi everyone.

So my HCG levels did double up in 2 days. Which I am guessing is a good sign. From what I've been reading. However my gynac suggested an ultrasound next week while I'll be in my 7th week. She said we should be able to find a heartbeat. Now I had taken a small 100mg dose of docycline for 5 days which she said was a cause of concern. I just wanted to ask does a rising hcg confirm a heartbeat? Sorry if I'm sounding silly. Still trying to understand things.
