mirror vs phone

why do i look so different in the mirror vs in my phone camera? like i know that the camera is flipped but that isnt even what i mean. i look skinnier in the mirror and then someone will take a photo of me and i don’t look as skinny, especially in the face. why is this? like why do i look wider and less skinny? which is more accurate to what people see me as in real life?
