Hi ladies, my baby is 8 weeks old and she takes to an hour to finish her bottle she literally take her time i thought she would change by now but nope

It used to be that way with my 5 week old. We tried using a different bottle and now it takes him about 15-20 minutes. The hole in the nipple may be to small. My baby got tired of trying to suck the milk out and eventually gave up.

my sons a month wednesday i feel like he takes a bit to finish his bottle and tried the next size up nipple but he gagged so clearly not time to up that yet, maybe try it since yours is a bit older ?

Mine is 4 weeks and takes about 10-15 minutes to finish a bottle. It’s about 4oz and we use the dr brown bottles.

It may be possible your baby needs the size 2 teet rather than the 1 you will be using?

My son is 7 weeks and typically takes 6 to 10 minutes to drink 3oz. I was worried he was chugging it too fast but the doc said as long as he isn’t spitting up crazy amounts then it’s ok.
